The Juice

Lauren and I became friends many years ago, and over time, she earned the nickname "Spritz Queen" for her impeccably crafted beverages. To this day, no one can match Lauren’s skill in making the perfect spritz.

But not all spritzes are created equal. When ordering at a bar, the consistency is often lacking—some are too sweet, syrupy, or watered down. We wanted a bar-quality, balanced, effervescent spritz every time, or the ability to visit a friend’s house with just one bottle instead of a bag of ingredients.

This desire for consistency, convenience, and quality led us to start Sistine. Our goal was to deliver a perfectly balanced spritz, every time. Our main focus has always been the juice. We needed to perfect the taste of our spritz.

Our original flavor was born in Lauren’s kitchen. She crafted it just the way we all love, with a few unique twists on the classic spritz. Realizing we needed an expert to bring our vision to life, we were fortunate to meet an incredible formulator, Blaire, who shared our commitment to quality. We aligned on sourcing natural and organic ingredients and reducing the sugar content compared to most spritzes on the market.

Over the next few months, we collaborated with Blaire to perfect our original aperitif. She sent samples for us to taste, and after numerous trials, we achieved the perfect blend—herbaceous, botanical, and balanced.

The next phase brought new challenges as we scaled up our formula with the help of our manufacturing partner, Tomas. Tomas and his team successfully brought our drink to a larger scale. They helped us find a wine producer in Paso Robles with the perfect Chardonnay to pair with our aperitif. Our formula was complete.

 Sistine Spritz 111 was born.
