Ingredients

For the Pasta:

12 ounces pasta of choice - we love penne 
1 can tinned smoked salmon - we highly recommend Fishwife + FlybyJing’s 
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/2 cup castelvetrano olives, pitted and sliced
2 tablespoons capers, drained
Goat cheese
Lemon juice (½ lemon)
Butter (a tiny, tiny bit)
½ cup reserved pasta water

For the Finish:

Zest of 1 lemon
Parmesan cheese
Pepper 

Steps

  1. Cook the pasta (according to package instructions), drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of the pasta cooking water.
  2. Add pasta, capers, olives, goat cheese, olive oil, and salmon to a pan and mix together.
  3. Add lemon juice, butter, and slowly pour enough pasta water until you have a creamy texture.
  4. Top with lemon zest, black pepper, and dare we say some parmesan.
  5. Enjoy with a glass of Sistine and our Vol 1 playlist.
